Uncle Mo proved himself the best 2-year-old male in the land with an overwhelming victory in the $2 million 2010 Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Churchill Downs. Uncle Mo, the strong favorite off blow-out scores in his first two career starts including the Champagne Stakes, prompted the early pace set by outsider Riveting Reason, poked his head in front nearing the stretch, and responded to pressure from jockey John Velazquez to score by about four lengths. Owned by Repole Stable and trained by Todd Pletcher. Uncle Mo covered the 1 1/16 miles in his first attempt around two turns in 1:42.60.
